By accessing or using LonelyStar ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LonelyStar provides access to AI chat services powered by open source language models including Smollm, Llama, and others. For $7.50 AUD per month, you get:
- Access to multiple open source AI models
- Zero data retention on conversations
- Private, secure AI interactions
- API access for developers
Available models may change over time. We'll notify users of significant changes to model availability or capabilities.
LonelyStar is independently owned and operated, hosted on Axiam Networks infrastructure.
3. Account Registration
To use LonelyStar, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Provide a valid email address
- Create a secure password
- Keep your account credentials confidential
You're responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Pricing
- Monthly subscription: $7.50 AUD
- Billed automatically each month
- All prices include GST where applicable
Billing
- Payments processed securely through Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- No refunds for partial months
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
Cancellation
- Cancel anytime from your account dashboard
- Access continues until the end of your billing period
- No cancellation fees
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use LonelyStar for:
- Illegal activities or content
- Harassment, hate speech, or harmful content
- Spam or automated abuse
- Attempting to reverse engineer or hack the service
- Sharing your account with others
- Reselling or redistributing API access
- Generating content that violates the open source models' respective licenses and acceptable use guidelines
6. Content and Privacy
- You retain all rights to content you create using LonelyStar
- We don't claim ownership of your conversations
- We don't store, log, or train on your chat content (see Privacy Policy)
- You're responsible for the content you generate
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99%+ uptime, but:
- Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance
- We're not liable for third-party service outages (AI providers, infrastructure, etc.)
- No guarantees of uninterrupted access
- We'll notify users of planned maintenance when possible
8. Rate Limits and Fair Use
While we offer "unlimited" usage, we reserve the right to implement reasonable rate limits to prevent abuse. Typical users won't be affected.
9. Model Availability
The open source AI models available through LonelyStar may change over time based on:
- Open source model releases and updates
- Service improvements and upgrades
- Performance and compatibility considerations
We'll maintain access to high-quality open source AI models and notify users of significant changes. Model changes don't affect pricing unless explicitly stated with advance notice.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Fail to pay your subscription
- Abuse the service or violate fair use policies
- Engage in fraudulent activity
You'll be notified before termination unless it's for serious violations.
11. Intellectual Property
- LonelyStar's branding, design, and code are independently owned
- You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our platform
- Open source AI models are used under their respective licenses
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
LonelyStar is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:
- Accuracy of AI-generated content
- Fitness for any particular purpose
- Error-free operation
- Specific uptime percentages
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We're not responsible for content generated by AI or decisions made based on it
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service. Major changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Australian law. Any disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.
16. Third-Party Services
LonelyStar relies on third-party services including AI model providers, payment processors, and infrastructure providers. Your use is also subject to their terms and policies.

If using our API:
- API keys are personal and non-transferable
